CIPSRT is a Knowledge Exchange Hub supporting a national network of researchers and public safety leaders developing research evidence to help current and former public safety personnel (PSP), their leaders, and their families to maintain and improve their mental health and well-being. CIPSRT hub activities include workshops and outreach events to support engagement between the CIPSRT Scientific Directorate, the research community, PSP leadership, and policy-makers, as well as support for an internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (iCBT) research project for PSP and their families throughout Canada. The Clinical Psychologist will support the iCBT research project and conduct structured clinical interviews, clinical assessments, and clinical interpretations and be involved in providing iCBT for PSP study participants. The Clinical Psychologist will also act as a mentor and supervise other clinical research associates, clinical practicum students conducting structured clinical interviews, clinical assessments, and clinical interpretations for study participants. The successful candidate will participate in various reporting efforts for the research project including outreach to PSP organizations and public to explain treatment procedures.
Pay Range: $73,645 - $96,178
Term: To June 30, 2021 with the possibility of extension
Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology plus 3 years' experience as a Registered Psychologist (preferred) or Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology plus 5 years' experience as a Registered Psychologist. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
Registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (required) and or Quebec College of Psychologists
Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) from Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (required for work in Saskatchewan)
