*This course is the first of its' kind in North America and represents an important chapter in bridging the gap between mental health professionals and first responders.

Upon completion of this course, we will endorse each clinician through the Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters' Association, which will recognize the clinician as having some level of familiarity with first responder culture. Clinicians will also have an invaluable experience to network with other mental health professionals and become part of a vetted network of occupationally aware clinicians in Saskatchewan.

*This training applies to working with fire fighters, paramedics, police AND their family members*

In taking this course, clinicians will have the added sense of confidence that when a first responder or their family member reaches out for counselling assistance, the clinician will have some level of occupational awareness regarding the modern challenges of first responder sub-culture. While this may sound introductory, we usually have seasoned trauma psychologists in our course and the feedback has been wonderful.
