Please use a valid email to register as we use the email on file to communicate with members, including sending out renewal codes for the next year registration, thank you.

Our Membership year is April 1- March 31. All memberships will expire on April 1

Membership Perks

Membership Types

Full Member

Any resident of Saskatchewan who meets at least one of the following criteria is eligible for admission to full membership with the Association:

(a) Full or provisional registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists;

(b) Canadian Certified Counsellor certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association 

(c) Those who do not meet requirements (a) or (b), but qualified for full membership before May 2021 and have not let their membership lapse since that time


Affiliate Member

Any person eligible for full membership, student membership, or honorary membership and who resides outside the Province of Saskatchewan may be admitted to affiliate membership. Similarly, any person not eligible for full membership or student membership, yet interested in furthering the activities of the Association may be admitted to affiliate membership, at the discretion of the council.


Student Member

Any resident of Saskatchewan enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a graduate or undergraduate program of psychology may be admitted to student membership.

Continuing Education Credits

Members get exclusive access to continuing education.  Check back regularly to find out about the latest opportunities.

Liability Insurance

We are pleased to announce that members of CPA and provincial/territorial associations now have access to an improved liability insurance program, brokered by BMS Group Inc. BMS replaces McFarlan Rowlands as the exclusive professional liability insurance broker for members of the CPA and provincial and territorial associations. BMS brings a new member-centric perspective to the design and delivery of the psychology insurance program, including significant immediate and long-term benefits to policyholders.

Awards & Scholarships

Every year the PAS recognizes psychologists and students through a series of awards. 

Jillings Award in Psychology

The purpose of the Jillings Award is to recognize an individual(s) who has made outstanding contributions towards excellence in psychology in Saskatchewan.


Annual Student Scholarship

The Psychology Association of Saskatchewan extends an invitation to all eligible students to enter the Annual Student Scholarship competition. Full-time Doctoral, Masters, and Honours students in any area of basic, applied, clinical, or educational psychology, who do not currently hold a major scholarship (e.g., SSHRC) or departmental award over $10,000.00, are eligible to submit an application.

Two scholarships, each totalling $500.00, will be presented to successful candidates. Eligible candidates will be judged based on their academic standing, or thesis/dissertation work. Candidates may only hold one PAS scholarship at a time.
